Fundraising

The Walnut Hills High School Association is committed to helping raise needed funds to help close the operating budget gap that Walnut Hills has each year. We, along with the Walnut Hills Alumni Association, Boosters, and WHIP all work to raise approximately $300,000 every year to make sure students, teachers, and staff have the tools they need to succeed. Our goal is to help make sure our students continue to experience the nationally recognized academic excellence provided at Walnut Hills.

There are three important fundraisers hosted by the Walnut Hills High School Association, so please participate and volunteer. Walnut Hills needs your help and support.

Legacy of Excellence

Parent and Staff Annual Fund
The Legacy of Excellence Campaign is the Walnut Hills High School Association's Annual Giving program, and it helps to support the school’s overall needs, especially in the area of academics. Every year Walnut Hills has a gap between the amount funded by the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education and the actual yearly operating income needed to help sustain our academic success. Text-books outside of the CPS standard curriculum and counselors to help students prepare for college essays and interviews are needed. This year we need your help more than ever!

Please consider giving a gift because every gift, no matter how large or small, will make a difference to Walnut Hills! Our hope is that all of the Walnut Hills families and staff participate in some way. Together, we can make the difference!

WalnutFest

The Walnut Hills High School Association, in partnership with the Athletic Boosters and the Walnut Hills Instrumental Parents (WHIP), hosts this annual gala in January to help raise needed funds for all types of athletic, music and academic needs. Each year more than 400 parents, staff, alumni and friends of Walnut Hills attend this adult-only, fun event in support of Walnut Hills High School. Enjoy music, drinks, fantastic food, a fabulous Silent Auction, and much, much more. We want you to be a part of this important event!
