Costa Rica Spring Break 2018 Trip now accepting 7th - 12th graders

Students in 7th through 12th grade are welcome to join us for the adventure and learning experience of a lifetime. The group departs from Cincinnati early on March 23, 2018 and travels to San Jose, Costa Rica. Students travel by bus from San Jose across the landscape of Costa Rica to the Hacienda Baru in the small town of Dominical. After a delicious dinner, good night’s rest, breakfast and a brief jungle hike travelers are back on their way to Morgan’s Jungle Lodge located just outside the town of Puerto Jiminez on the peninsula of the Gulf Dulce. The beautiful camp has running water, hot showers, indoor bathroom facilities and more. It’s located just 100 yards from the beach with breath taking views of sunrises over the Pacific Ocean and the mainland. Travelers sleep in roof covered cabinas (screened tents) have meals together in the open air lodge, swim or kayak in the surf or relax in the cool pool at the lodge. Daily outings take students into the nearby primary rainforest or jungle. These outings include: zip lining in the junle canopy, horseback riding through the rain forest, whale/ dolphin watching tour and snorkeling, organic chocolate farm tour, and rain forest creek hike. The group will return to Cincinnati on Saturday March 31, 2018. Approximate cost of $2500 per student covers: air fare, lodging, meals and in country travel. Airfare can fluctuate so price could increase slightly. Commitment for the trip is required with a $300 nonrefundable deposit by Novemeber 20, 2017.
