Science

ScienceIt is the mission of the Walnut Hills Science Department to produce scientifically literate students who can make informed decisions based on scientific evidence.

Our students will demonstrate their understanding of the scientific process by designing and conducting scientific experiments, then collecting, tabulating, and analyzing data in order to draw valid conclusions. They will also evaluate commonly heard scientific statements in their daily lives. Our courses will engender curiosity about the natural world and enthusiasm for seeking the order which underlies nature and society.

It is our hope that students will appreciate the predictive power of science in the classroom and in their daily lives.
