Students

Classics Italy Fundraising Meeting, Thursday, 11/7/19, 6:00 pm, Room 2214.

All students in grades 7-11 are eligible to participate in fundraising regardless of what year they will be eligible to travel! Starting sooner means more potential for fundraising!

Please plan to attend the Classics Italy Fundraising Meeting on Thursday, 11/7/19, at 6:00 p.m. in room 2214.

Students who have finished 10th-, 11th or 12th grade and have completed at least one elective Latin class (Latin 4 survey; Latin 4AA Prose; Latin 4AA Poetry; AP Latin: Caesar & Virgil) OR an elective Classics class (Ancient & Medieval History; Intro to Archaeology) may participate in the Classics Department’s capstone field trip in early June of odd-numbered years.

Of course our program focuses on the ancient Roman civilization they have been studying for several years: the program includes worl-class museums and archaeological sites of primary importance. We visit the Renaissance treasure trove of Florence before diving into Eternal City of Rome, and tour both Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Contact Mrs Ligon  ligonta@cps-k12.org  or Mrs Wasem wasemla@cps-k12.org  with questions.

Oops. Thursday 11/7.
End date 11/26
