*ALPHA PHI ALPHA FRATERNITY SCHOLARSHIP
African American male applicants must demonstrate leadership qualities, community involvement, academic achievement, and financial need. Applicants must also exemplify overall school involvement. Minimum award is $1,000. Deadline: March 31, 2011
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF BLACKS IN ENERGY
The Cincinnati Chapter of AABE will award scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,500 to an unrepresented minority group (African American, Hispanic/Latino American or Native American). The Regional Award is $3,000, and the Premier Award is $5,000. Criteria: Must have overall “B” average and “B” average in mathematics and science courses, majoring in business, engineering, technology, mathematics or physical science fields, and financial need.

The Callie Trinkle Trust was established by Callie Trinkle, a retired principal of Cincinnati Public Schools. This opportunity is being offered to CincinnatiPublic School students. In honor of the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan, students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship may apply for $10,000 renewable scholarships. Criteria: Must be nominated by a community leader…high school principal, elected official or nonprofit executive, and each leader may nominate only one applicant.
