WHHS Foreign Language Department
Language
and communication are the basis for all learning. Reading and
speaking in another language opens a wider world for students and
allows them to experience the diversity of other cultures.
The Department of Modern Languages at Walnut Hills High School uses a variety of learning experiences to provide students with communication skills in a second language. The Department teaches a standards-based curriculum through speaking and listening activities in the Language Lab, research and communication with native speakers in the Computer Lab, and video and text materials.
